Mobile Ad Revenue Following Twitter

As you may be aware FaceBook is the top social networking website that attracts maximum traffic on the Internet. Twitter is also getting huge traffic from the search engines. However, as far as mobile ad revenues are concerned, Twitter already has taken an edge over FaceBook. As per the report given by eMarketer, Twitter has beat FaceBook already when it comes to mobile advertisements revenue though FaceBook is having more members than Twitter.

 

The statistics of eMarketer say that Twitter will make over $130 million in the USA alone this year in mobile ads revenues while FaceBook will earn only less than $75 million. That said, eMarketer also predicts that FaceBook's mobile ads revenue will grow much faster than Twitter. It further says that FaceBook will beat Twiitter by the end of next year. It also says that there will be substantial growth in mobileads revenue in the USA in the coming years. It is estimated that the total mobile ads revenue in the USA in the next year will be $2.6 billion.

 

EMarketer also predicts that the total mobile ads revenue in the USA will be over $12 billion by the end of 2016. The future for mobile ads business is really very good both at present and also in future all over the world. How does Twitter do so well in mobile ads revenue? Its main revenue comes from the Channel â€". You may know that Channel "is a popular online radio service Pandora. It recently declared that its major ads revenue comes from mobile. It is estimated that it will earn a revenue of over $225 billion this year. Google is still the undisputed king of mobile ads. Google will make over 50% of total mobile ads revenue generated this year. Google made over $750 million last year in mobile ads revenue. It is estimated that Google will earn $1.4 billion this year and will make over $3.6 billion by the year 2014 according to eMarketer.
