New iPad arrives in China next week11 Jul 2012

After months of red tape to counter and hurdles to jump, Apple is finally ready to launch the new iPad in China.
On Tuesday, the iPad maker confirmed next week’s launch.
Apple today announced the new iPad, the third generation of its category defining mobile device, will arrive in China on Friday, July 20.
Late last week, rumors surfaced to suggest that the new iPad would come to China on July 27th, but early this morning the Cupertino, California-based mobile tech giant verified the July 20th launch date instead.
It has been rumored but not confirmed that Apple’s recent settlement with China-based Proview regarding fair usage of the iPad trademark in China was the last obstacle for Apple to overcome before the new iPad could be released to Chinese consumers.
Chinese regulators had signed off on the new iPad months ago.
